Here's how you can register to vote ahead of the May 22 primary election.

ATLANTA, GA — The time is winding down for citizens to register to vote so they can cast ballots in the May 22 general primary and nonpartisan general elections.
The deadline to register is Tuesday, April 24 for the primary elections. Residents who are unsure if they are registered to vote can visit the Secretary of State's My Voter Page to verify that information.
To check your registration status, visit the website and enter your first initial, last name, the county where you reside and your date of birth. If you have a valid Georgia driver's license or ID card and want to register online, you can also visit the Secretary of State's website to fill out the required information.
