Sprayberry Football Stars: Signing Day

's signing day was cloaked in grief following the tragic loss of junior .

Football players that will benefit freshman Lidiane Carmo who survived the wreck and remains in critical condition.

Defensive back Corbin Jackson, who played offense and defense for the Yellow Jackets, has signed with Charleston Southern (CSU). Jackson brings the experience of both wide receiver and defensive back to CSU. His career highs include going 19-of-35 for 228 yards and two touchdowns as well as 80 rushing carries for 419 yards and six touchdowns for coach Bill Shackelford. He's the son of Calvin and Sebrena. The three-year letter winner will major in criminal justice at CSU.  

A three-year starter in the offensive line at Sprayberry, offensive tackle Jibrin Linge has signed with Tennessee Tech. He's the son of Jolyn and Mustafa Linge.  He plans to major in business management.

Wide receiver Tyé Richardson and quarterback Jacob Chesser are listed on the Sprayberry football website as signing with Valdosta State, but they’re not on the Valdosta signing list.

Offensive tackle Paul Johnson signed with Mercer.

Safety Myles Atkins signed with Davidson.

Linebacker Terrell Brownridge signed with West Georgia.
