Sprayberry, Lassiter Football Preview

Autumn is definitely in the air, and the high school football season is winding down.

Sprayberry High School plays the Greyhounds at 7 p.m. It's homecoming for Pope tonight with a rare Thursday celebration. 

The game was moved up a day from the original schedule to accommodate a live airing on WSB-TV's high school digital sports channel. It's Channel 248 on Comcast.

The game at the Hound Pound will be the renewal of another East Cobb backyard rivalry, with 5-1 Pope looking to keep pace near the top of the Region 5-AAAA North standings. Sprayberry is 3-3. Both teams are 2-1 in region play.

The Trojans (5-1) plays Thursday evening. The football game will be a challenging one for the Wildcats (3-3).
