Sprayberry NJROTC Shines in Drill Meet
The team placed first in last weekend's Big Red Invitational in Gainesville.

The Sprayberry High School Naval JROTC participated in the 3rd Annual Big Red Invitational Drill Meet at Gainesville High School, taking 1st place overall among 22 JROTC units.
Sprayberry dominated in athletics taking 1st place in pullups, flexed arm hang, situps, 10x100 relay and combat fitness. In drill competition, Sprayberry took 2nd in Armed Basic, 3rd in Armed Exhibition, 3rd in Unarmed Basic, 4th in Unarmed Exhibition and 5th in Male Color Guard.

The unit also took 1st place in academic competition. Individual athletic awards went to Austin Allen, Nikoli Bruton, Doug Barnard, Malik Coleman, Selene Guerra, Keebler, Abraham Richmond, Alexis Ross, Grace Tenny, Ana Vasquez and Robert Young.
