This week's road construction and closure alerts in our community from the Cobb County Department of Transportation.
The following streets are experiencing road construction this week:
Acworth Due West Road
Big Shanty Extension(GDOT)- Phase 1 and 3
Callaway Road
Canton Road Corridor
County Line Road
Hiram Lithia Springs Road
Jamerson Road / Wigley Road
Jiles Road - Phase 1 and 2
Mars Hill Road Intersections
Nance Road Phase 2
Noonday Creek Trail - Phase 1 and 2
Sandy Plains at East Piedmont Road (GDOT)
"Smart Corridor" Project
Stilesboro Road
Windy Hill / Macland Road Connector
Woodlawn Drive will be closed to through traffic between Lower Roswell Road and Tiger Lily Way until Aug. 12 so the Marietta Water Authority can install a waterline.
There are no road closures.
