Viewfinder: Chocolate Jewels
Former Lassiter graduate, Julie Travis, opened her own store in 2005 after a neighbor encouraged her to sell her delicious home made chocolates and treats.
Julie Travis's store, , features 100 different chocolates and candies and 28 feet of candy cases.
"The most fun thing about my job is being able to experiment in the kitchen. I love to "throw things in a pot" and create new candies. Because we make candies for all the seasonal holidays, every day at Chocolate Jewels is something different," Travis said.
