Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: Emily has played basketball since she was in fifth grade. She played at the varsity level all four years of high school. From fifth to eighth grade she made MVP and was captain of her team. Emily is now being recruited by 72 colleges and universities.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: "Ever since I started playing, I had two people by my side the whole time. That's my mom and dad. My dad has been my coach my whole life. My mom has been my No. 1 fan.

"I have had people tell me I wasn't going to make it anywhere, but to prove them wrong I chose to go all the way. I plan on playing in college, and then after that I want to play in the WNBA. I have scholarship offers from all over the world. They have found me from my page on berecruited.com."
