Williams Advances to Semis in France
Kell's Kendell Williams won her heat at the IAAF World Youth Championships in France today.

rising junior Kendell Williams has already shown her skills at the state and national level. Today she shined internationally, as she participated in the 2011 IAAF World Youth Championships in Lille, France.
According to Runners Web, Williams won the fourth heat of the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.60. With the win she automatically qualified for the semifinals on Thursday.
"I hate early morning races, but I actually felt OK.” said Williams. “I kept looking around the stadium, and I did pretty well."

Williams posted a time of 13.50 last month at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, in Greensboro, N.C., to take second place.
