Athens artist, Philip Juras has been studying and painting the landscapes William Bartram would have seen when he toured the southeast prior to the Revolutionary War. A wine and cheese reception will be held after the program to meet the artist, and have him sign copies of his book: Philip Juras: The Southern Frontier, Landscapes Inspired by Bartram's Travels. The book will be available for purchase at the GMOA Gift Shop. Free and open to the public. Handicapped Accessible.
