Bishop Central Market, a free farmers market to sellers, will begin Thursday, May 1 on the city lot in Bishop, Ga.
Brussel sprouts and other greens will be featured this week. Summer vegetables will follow later this season
The city parking lot is located across from the post office on US Highway 441.
This year the city council voted to back the market with up $500. for signs and banners to be put up near the
highway. The market will be managed by Bill Stauff and Charley Brooks.
