A FREE DAY OF FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Worldwide Free Comic Book Day Comes to WATKINSVILLE, GA with Comics for All Ages!
MR. Comic Shop in downtown Watkinsville is one of thousands of comic book shops around the world celebrating comics on Saturday, May 4th. On Free Comic Book Day, over 3.3 million comic books will be given away by participating stores, introducing as many people as possible to the latest comic books!
Celebrating its twelfth year, Free Comic Book Day has proven to be a smashing success, spreading the word that comics are terrific reading. Even if you have never picked up a comic book, stop by and check out what it’s all about!
This year’s selection is one of the best ever offered, with titles ranging from Image Comic’s The Walking Dead, Marvel’s upcoming Infinity and DC Comics Superman Last Son of Krypton. There are also over 20 All Ages / Kids books available with titles like Adventure Time, Archie, Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sesame Street, and even an Ugly Doll Comic that also contains a backup Hello Kitty story! And the best part – they are all given away for FREE!
