Student Drug Issues? Here is a Helpful Tip.

As a professional dealing with drug testing on a daily basis, I hear all kinds of troubling drug abuse stories.  Here is a tip for parents that will help teens make the right choice when it come to "Peer Pressure".

Everyone, at one time or another, will come face to face with an acquaintance offering drugs.  This is reality.  Public school or private school, it's going to happen.  Whether it be a "hit" off a marijuana joint, a line of cocaine or a prescription pill, your teen will have to make a decision.   Peer Pressure is strong. Do not overlook its power.  Wouldn't it be amazing if your teens had the perfect reason to not participate? Wouldn't your teens prefer being able to refuse drugs without being teased or humiliated?

Here is your tip.

Start drug testing your kids.  What??  At first glance you will think "How stupid is this guy?".  My kids don't do drugs.  Understood.  We raise our kids to stay away from these things.  But, someone's kids are doing and selling drugs.  This isn't an imaginary national problem.

You are not trying to bust your teens.

You are being proactive and giving your kids a 100% bona fide reason to help fend off peer pressure.  Have a talk, tell them the reason.

"I can't, my parents test me".  Easily said, move on. Enjoy the rest of the party.
