Tough weekend on the pitch

Here's the latest news from the Oconee Soccer Alliance.

U13 Boys Black team lost 3-1 to Villa Rica at home.

U13 Boys White team did not play this weekend

U13 Boys Red team dropped a hard fought game in Henry County. The boys started off strong and held the number nine in the state team to a 0-0 tie at the half. Henry County came out fighting in the second half and brought the score to 4-0.

U13 Girls had a busy weekend. They lost on Saturday 2-0 against NASA. The team played a very good game holding NASA off until the final few minutes. Sunday the girls lost 3-1 to NW YMCA. Christine Membele scored the goal.

U14 Boys lost 4-1 to the Santos Blue team.

U15 Boys 4-3 win against Alpharetta Ambush

U15 Girls played at home and tied South Georgia United 0-0 on Saturday. On Sunday, the girls beat Concorde Fire North 2-1.

U16 Boys had a tough weekend with two losses. The team played UFA White on Saturday and lost 2-0 and then travelled to Dawson County to play the UFA Black team. They dropped that game 2-0.

U17 Girls lost a tough one to Alpharetta Ambush 3-0.

Coach Rock's U19 boys team remained undefeated with a come from behind 2-1 victory. The team started off sluggishly in the first half then gave up an early 2nd half goal. Erick Gaona scored two goals including a long free kick as the team picked up the intensity and won their sixth straight game.

U19 Howard's team dropped a game against the Fury in Norcross.
