Candidate Forum For Board Of Commissioners Races Announced

The two candidates for Commission Chair and the three candidates for Post 3 will participate in a virtual forum via Zoom.

All five candidates competing for positions on the Oconee County Board of Commissioners on the Nov. 3 ballot have agreed to participate in a virtual candidates forum over Zoom from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 12.

The candidates will introduce themselves and then respond to questions submitted in advance and during the session itself.

The first 45 minutes of the session will be devoted to candidates in the non-primaried special election to fill the unexpired term of Post 3 Commissioner William “Bubber” Wilkes, who passed away earlier this year.
