COVID-19 Cases In NE Health District Drop, But Not COVID Deaths

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The seven-day rolling average of added COVID-19 cases continued to fall with the addition of only 37 new cases.
The seven-day rolling average of added deaths increased slightly with the addition of two deaths.
The rolling averages of added cases decreased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
The number of COVID-19 cases at area hospitals decreased.
The area’s long-term care facilities have not reported a new COVID-19 death since March 5, a new case among residents since March 8, or a new case among staff since March 11.
The Georgia Department of Public Health reported that the state received an additional allocation of 457,910 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and additional shipment of 163,480 doses.
