Crowd Turns Out For Back The Blue Rally At Sheriff's Office
Jamey Canady organized the gathering to show support for Oconee County's Deputies.

More than 100 people turned out on Thursday in front of the Oconee County Sheriffβs Office in Watkinsville to show support for local law enforcement officers.
Organized by Jamey Canady via Facebook, the Back The Blue Rally included a prayer by Kevin βChappyβ Hynes, a Watkinsville police officer and chaplain, and brief comments by Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry.
Those present waved flags, carried signs with messages such as Back The Blue, and intermingled with Sheriff Department deputies leaving work at the Thursday shift.
