Mom Prom is a ladies night out to support the "In Their Shoes Half Marathon" for the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support. Women are invited to come and relive their old prom memories, dance with their girl friends and even have a crowning of prom queen. Proceeds from this fun night will go to a good cause. Women are encouraged to wear old prom, bridesmaid, and wedding dresses (the tackier the better) and have prom pictures made with celebrity cutouts like Elvis. Refreshments will be available and so will a DJ. Tickets can be purchased for $25 presale at the Oconee County Extension Office or by emailing momprom.athens@gmail.com or purchased for $30 at the door.
