The Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department’s 7th annual "Movie in the Park" event will be held at Oconee Veterans Park. “Despicable Me, starring Steve Carell, ” will be screened this year. This event has become one of Oconee’s favorite family activities. Fun activities for the entire family will be start at 6:00pm followed by the outdoor movie at 8:30pm. "Movie in the Park" is co-sponsored by the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department and Waugh & Allen Orthodontics.
