The Oconee Democrats sponsor a community reading group the last Wednesday of each month (except for November and December) at the Taco Stand on Hog Mountain Road. Both adults and teens from any county and any political leaning are invited to join. The April book selection is "April 1865: The Month That Saved America" by Jay Winik.
