The Oconee County Cycling Organization and AthensGaBicycling present The Teardrop Metric Century Bike Ride to Benefit the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens. Enjoy a beautiful 62-mile ride, rolling from Watkinsville through Bishop, Bostwick, Fairplay, Rutledge, Madison, Greshamville, and the Oconee National Forest. The ride is fully sagged and supported, with rest stops every 15 miles. Shorter options of 10 and 26 miles are available, too, so cyclists of all interests and abilities can take part. Funds from this ride will support the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens in its mission to work with local congregations and agencies to provide emergency, temporary housing and other vital services for homeless families in our area.
