The Athens Land Trust is hosting a workshop to introduce USDA - NRCS programs with a focus on water conservation, irrigation and well water management.
Are you an under served farmer in need of technical assistance, start up, capital or land?
Under served are individuals and groups who have not participated in or have received limited benefits from the USDA or NRCS programs which may improve their quality of life and/or the environment.
Guest Speakers will include: Cathy Payne from Broad River Pastures Farm and Katrina White, an Elbert County NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) Agent
