The Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee opened this weekend and runs through Saturday, July 27, at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.
The event includes a juried arts and crafts show, carnival rides, musical performances and demonstrations of old-time ways in the Pioneer Village.
Cost is $11 per person at the gate and includes music shows. Children 9 and under are admitted free. Free parking is available, with trolley service available daily.
