LONG ROAD STUDIOS, a collective formed by professional clay artists since 2012, announces the GRAND OPENING of its new permanent gallery in Bishop, GA. The event will take place on Saturday May 10th, 10am-7pm, at 4860 Macon Hwy, Bishop GA 30621 (12 miles from downtown Athens).
Stop by to check out Long Road Studio's new
location, enjoy live music, food for sale by Rooter's BarBQ,
complimentary drinks and desserts, and games for the family. The
gallery features pottery and clay sculptures by Long Road artists Jorie
Berman, Laura Cooper, Juana Gnecco, Nancy Green, Kendall Steele, Melanie
Sgrignoli, and Caryn van Wagtendonk. Also available at the
gallery: beerware by Red Wolf Growlers, textiles by Sarah Parker, and
handcrafted soaps by Lisa Pickett. Special guest for the opening,
jewelry by Jim Norton.
