Old Bascomb calls the Republicans and the Democrats the “Skunks and the Polecats” because he says they both stink.

Well I have been watching all of this campaign fever that we have been going through at a cost of four or five billion dollars in advertising, and considering the plight of the average American I would say this campaign really stinks.  Of course, the Professional Politicians (Varmits) call it an opportunity for the American People to engage in a referendum on the state of their country.

I once had a boss who said we don’t have problems, we have opportunities.  Well in the words of Old Bascomb, “You can call a hog pen a rose garden, but it don’t make it smell no better.”
