NE Health District Adds 10 COVID Deaths; Oconee School Cases Up
The Northeast Health District has added 37 confirmed COVID-19 deaths since Sunday. Oconee County School reported 40 Active Cases of COVID.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 10 new confirmed COVID-19 deaths on Friday, bringing to 37 the number added since Sunday.
- Long-term care facilities in the District reported an additional four deaths and have added 20 deaths since Sunday.
- The Northeast District added 630 new COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined to 117.9.
- Oconee County added 46 cases and Clarke County added 114.
- Oconee County Schools reported 40 Active COVID-19 Cases, and 225 Active Quarantines Due To Close Contact. Both are new records.
- The number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals has dropped each of the last three days.
