NE Health District Adds 116 Cases, Three Deaths From Disease
Two of the added deaths were at a Clarke County nursing home.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 116 COVID-19 cases and one confirmed death from the disease in the Department of Public Health Report.
- The seven-day rolling average of added cases and deaths declined slightly.
- The District added two deaths—both at a Clarke County nursing home—in the Department of Community Health Report.
- This was the first COVID-19 death in the District at a long-term care facility since Feb. 11.
- The seven-day rolling average of added COVID-19 cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties increased slightly.
- North Oconee High School reported two new positive tests at the school, bringing to 16 the number reported since Feb. 22.
- The Northeast Health District recorded only 110 vaccinations for COVID-19.
