NE Health District Adds 14 COVID-19 Deaths, Four In Oconee County

The District added 422 new cases of the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases continued to decline.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Wednesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added 14 deaths from COVID-19 in state health reports on Wednesday.
Six of those deaths were listed by the Department of Public Health and are considered confirmed deaths.
Eight of the deaths were listed by the Department of Community Health and were in long-term care facilities in the District.
Four of the 14 deaths were in Oconee County.
The Northeast Health District added 422 new cases of COVID-19, and the number of cases continues to decline.
The number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals also is declining.
