NE Health District Adds 22 COVID Deaths In State Health Reports

Three of the added deaths were in Oconee County.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Wednesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District had 22 COVID-19 deaths listed in state health reports on Tuesday.
Three of those were in Oconee County.
One of the Oconee County Deaths was listed as confirmed in the Department of Public Health Daily Status Report.
Two of the Oconee County deaths were listed in the Department of Community Health Long-Term Care Facility Report.
Confirmed deaths were at a record 16, and the seven-day rolling average of added confirmed deaths increased.
The District reported 341 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.
The number of COVID-19 patients in area hospitals decreased by six on Wednesday.
