NE Health District Adds 252 COVID-19 Cases, Rolling Average Up
The District added two confirmed deaths in the Tuesday Daily Status Report of the Department of Public Health.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 252 new cases of COVID-19, pushing up again the seven-day rolling average of added cases.
- The seven-day rolling average of added cases also increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
- The District added two new confirmed deaths from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths from the disease fell.
- The number of COVID-19 patients in area hospitals has now declined for seven days in a row.
- The Northeast Health District added 1,577 vaccinations, and the number of administered second doses of the vaccines represents 4.9 percent of the District’s population.
