NE Health District Adds 399 COVID Cases, 11 Deaths From Disease
Nearly half of patients at area hospitals have COVID-19.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 399 COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths from the disease.
- The seven-day rolling averages of both cases and deaths increased.
- The rolling averages of added cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties increased as well.
- 10 of the deaths were at long-term care facilities, with two of them in Oconee County and four in Clarke County.
- Oconee County Schools reported at least seven positive COVID-19 tests late Sunday and Monday.
- Area hospitals added 45 COVID-19 patients, and just under half of all patients at the hospitals now have the disease.
