NE Health District Adds 507 COVID-19 Cases; Rolling Average Up

No new deaths from the disease were reported on Sunday.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District Added 507 New COVID-19 cases, resulting in an increase in the seven-day rolling average of added cases to 559.0 from 550.7.
Oconee County added 42 cases and Clarke County added 93 cases.
The District did not add any new deaths from the disease.
The number of patients at area hospitals with COVID-19 increased by five, and four-in-ten of the patients in the hospitals have the disease.
Oconee County schools reported two positive tests at schools since Friday.
The unemployment rate, which had been dropping after a huge jump at the start of the pandemic, increased in November.
