NE Health District Adds 61 New Cases, With 24 In Clarke County
Oconee County added six new cases. The District recorded no new deaths attributed to the disease.

The 10-county Northeast Health District added 61 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, with Clarke County’s 24 new cases leading the way. Oconee County added six new cases.
Clarke County has added 229 new cases in the last week, and Oconee County has added 37.
The seven-day rolling average of added cases for the Northeast Health District increased to 83.1 on Sunday from 77.3 on Saturday. The District had added only 20 cases on Sunday a week ago.

The Northeast Health District added no new deaths attributed to COVID-19 on Sunday, and has gone a record nine days without adding a death. The seven-day average is 0.0.
Across the state, the Department of Public Health reported 2,197 new cases on Sunday, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped slightly from 2,619.1 on Saturday to 2,615.1 on Sunday.

The state added three new deaths on Sunday, and the seven-day rolling average was 11.7, compared with 11.6 on Saturday.
Two of those deaths occurred on July 4, and the other on July 3.
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency Situation Report has been released daily since May 1, but it has not been released to the public since Thursday, when a big increase in Confirmed COVID-19 Hospitalizations was reported.
