NE Health District Adds 66 COVID-19 cases, Two Deaths On Sunday
The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased slightly.

The Northeast Health District added 66 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and two deaths from the disease on Sunday. The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased to 83.0 on Sunday from 81.9 on Saturday.
Every county in the 10-county Northeast Health District added at least two new confirmed cases on Sunday.
Oconee County added six cases and Clarke added 18, and the seven day rolling average in Oconee County increased to 4.3 on Sunday from 3.9 on Saturday and in Clarke County decreased from 25.6 on Saturday to 25.4 on Sunday.

The two deaths were of an 80-year-old female in Morgan County with a chronic condition and of a 66-year-old male in Walton County, also with a chronic condition.
The death was only the fifth in Morgan County, the lowest tally of any of the 10 counties in the Northeast Health District, and the death in Walton County was the 65th, most of any of the counties in the District.

The total number of deaths in the Daily Status Report for the Northeast Health District now stands at 288, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped to 1.6 from 1.7 on Saturday. On Sunday a week ago, the District added three deaths.
The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) reported on Sunday the number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals (55) was down from the day before, that the number of ICU beds in use (63) decreased from the day before, and that the number of adult ventilators in use (30) decreased from the day before.
