NE Health District Adds 7 COVID-19 Deaths, 395 New Cases

The seven-day rolling average of added deaths and cases declined.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added seven confirmed COVID-19 deaths and 395 new cases of the disease.
The seven-day rolling averages of added confirmed deaths and added cases decreased.
Oconee County added 21 cases and Clarke County added 117. The seven-day rolling average dropped slightly in Oconee County but increased in Clarke County.
Oconee County School principals have notified parents of recent positive tests at the system’s schools, with Malcom Bridge Middle School reporting at least nine cases since last Friday.
Area hospitals reported a decrease of 19 in the number of patients with COVID-19.
