NE Health District Adds 74 COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths From Disease

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 74 new cases of COVID-19, but no new deaths from the disease.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped, while the seven-day rolling average of added deaths was unchanged.
  • Oconee County added one “probable” death from COVID-19, the sixth in the county. The county has 60 confirmed deaths from COVID-19.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases in Oconee County dropped, while it increased in Clarke County.
  • Oconee County High School, for the second day in a row, reported a positive test in the school.
