NE Health District Adds 769 COVID-19 Cases, Seven COVID-19 Deaths
The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased. Oconee County Schools report 11 Active Cases.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
The Northeast Health District added 769 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, pushing up the seven-day rolling average of added cases to 514.1.
Oconee County added 46 cases, and Clarke County added 151.
The Northeast Health District added seven deaths: In Barrow, Jackson, Greene, and Madison counties.
The seven-day rolling average of added confirmed deaths increased to 2.6 deaths per day.
Long-term care facilities around the District continue to add cases among residents and staff, with one facility in Oconee County adding 10 new resident cases since Thursday’s report.
Oconee County Schools reported 11 Active COVID-19 Cases and 65 Active Quarantines after the first four days of in-person instruction.
