NE Health District Adds 9 COVID Deaths; Cases Continue To Drop

Clarke County added its 107th death with the release of the Department of Public Health Report.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added nine confirmed COVID-19 Deaths, pushing up the seven-day rolling average.
One of the deaths was in Clarke County.
The District added only 56 new cases of the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.
Oconee County added only one case on Monday, and Clarke County added only nine. In both counties, the seven-day rolling average declined.
The Northeast Health District added only 117 vaccinations for COVID-19 on Monday.
The state reported the additional allocation of 361,500 new doses of the vaccine and shipment of 122,085 new doses.
