NE Health District Adds Eight COVID Deaths, One In Clarke County

The rolling average of added deaths dropped just slightly, while the rolling average of added cases dropped more substantially.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added eight confirmed COVID-19 deaths, with one of those in Clarke County.
The District added 132 new cases of the disease.
The seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped just slightly, while the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined more substantially.
The seven-day rolling average of added cases fell in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
The number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals fell, while the number of ICU beds in use increased.
The Northeast Health District added 1,477 COVID-19 vaccinations on Saturday.
