NE Health District Adds Five COVID-19 Deaths And 611 Cases
Medical practices and clinics in the District have been allocated less than half of the requested vaccines.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added five deaths attributed to COVID-19 and 611 new cases of the disease.
- The seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped, while the seven-day average of added deaths remained unchanged.
- Oconee County added 32 cases and Clarke County added 113.
- Area Hospitals reported declines in COVID-19 patients, ICU beds in use, and adult ventilators in use, but more than four in 10 of patients have the disease.
- Oconee County Schools reported at least three new positive tests for COVID-19.Area medical practices and clinics have been allocated just less half of the requested doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
