NE Health District Adds Five COVID-19 Deaths, One In Oconee
Oconee County Schools report drop in Active COVID-19 Cases, Quarantines.
Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
The Northeast Health District added five confirmed COVID-19 deaths and only 77 cases of the disease.
Because four confirmed COVID-19 deaths were eliminated from the list, the Northeast Health District netted only one confirmed death, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths declined.
The seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped in the District as well as in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
Oconee County Schools reported a decrease in the number of Active Cases and Active Quarantines.
Area hospitals reported a drop in COVID-19 patients, ICU bed use, and adult ventilator use.
