NE Health District Adds Nine COVID Deaths, Three In Clarke County

The seven-day rolling average for added cases decreased in the District and in both Oconee and Clarke counties.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added nine confirmed COVID-19 deaths, including three in Clarke County.
The seven-day rolling average of added deaths increased. The District had added eight confirmed deaths on Wednesday.
The District added 94 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases decreased.
The rolling averages of added cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties decreased.
North Oconee High School reported another positive test result for COVID-19 at the school, the third reported this week.
Area hospitals reported an increase in COVID-19 patients and in ICU beds in use.
