NE Health District Adds Only 38 COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added only 38 confirmed COVID-19 cases, the fewest since Nov. 16.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.
  • The District did not add any new deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases in both Oconee and Clarke counties decreased.
  • Area hospitals reported an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients.
  • Across the state, no deaths from COVID-19 were reported. The last time zero deaths were reported on a day was on Nov. 30.
