NE Health District Adds Seven COVID-19 Deaths, 651 New Cases
The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased while the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped slightly.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added seven deaths from COVID-19 and 651 new cases of the disease on Saturday.
- In a reversal of trends, the seven-day rolling average of confirmed deaths fell slightly, while the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.
- None of the deaths were in either Oconee or Clarke counties, but both counties added cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased in Oconee and Clarke.
- The number of COVID-19 patients at area hospitals increased on Saturday and has increased for three days in a row after decreasing for four days in a row.
- The number of ICU beds in used was unchanged on Saturday at 82 but has been above the 70-bed normal capacity now for 20 days.
