NE Health District Adds Seven COVID Deaths, Rolling Average Up
The rolling average of added cases continued to decline.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The addition of seven confirmed COVID-19 deaths in the Northeast Health District pushed up the seven-day rolling average of added deaths.
- The District added 156 new cases of the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases continued to decline.
- The seven-day rolling average of added cases fell just slightly in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
- The number of COVID-19 patients, the number of ICU beds in use, and the number of adult ventilators in use all fell at area hospitals.
- The Northeast Health District added 1,801 vaccinations, representing 2.9 percent of the residents of the District with a second dose, compared with 4.6 percent of the population statewide.
