NE Health District Adds Single COVID-19 Case On Sunday, No Deaths
Across the state, the number of added confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to increase.

The Northeast Health District added only a single confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Sunday Department of Public Health Daily Status Report–in Clarke County–and the seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped from 23.1 on Saturday to 22.0 on Sunday.
The 10-county Northeast Health District did not report any new COVID-19 deaths on Sunday, but the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged at 1.7 from Saturday because no deaths were added on Sunday a week earlier.
The Sunday Daily Status report generally has included few new cases in the Northeast Health District, and not a single deaths has been reported on May 31, June 7 or June 14.

The state and region have reduced restrictions on business operations and social interaction over the last six weeks, and a comparison for the Northeast Health District across that time period shows that the number of added cases has declined but the number of added deaths has increased.
From May 17 to May 31, the region added 433 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, while it added 323 new cases from May 31 to June 14.

From May 17 to May 31, the 10-county District added 19 new deaths attributed to COVID-19, while from May 31 to June 14 it added 29.
In the last two weeks, Jackson, Clarke, Walton and Barrow counties were the counties adding the largest number of new cases, and Walton and Barrow counties accounted for 19 of the 29 added deaths.
Neither the Department of Community Health nor the Georgia Emergency Management Agency released reports on COVID-19 on Sunday.
