NE Health District Adds Two Confirmed COVID Deaths, 541 New Cases

Clarke County has now added four confirmed deaths in the last three days.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added two new confirmed deaths from COVID-19 in the Thursday Department of Public Health Report.
One of those deaths was in Clarke County, which now has reported four confirmed deaths in the last three days.
The District added 541 cases of COVID-19, but the seven-day rolling average has now decreased each of the last three days.
Oconee County added 43 cases, and Clarke County added 112. The Oconee rolling average dropped, but the Clarke rolling average increased.
Long-term care facilities in Oconee and Clarke counties joined others in counties in the District in reporting new resident and staff cases.
