NE Health District Reports 12 COVID-19 Deaths, 442 Cases

Rolling averages of deaths and cases increase slightly.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Friday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added 12confirmed COVID-19 deaths and 442 new cases of the disease.
The seven-day rolling averages of added confirmed deaths and added cases increased slightly.
The confirmed deaths spread across six of the 10 counties in the Northeast Health District and included a death in Clarke County.
Oconee County added 25 cases and Clarke County added 94. The seven-day rolling average increased by small amounts in both counties.
Oconee County Schools reported 25 Active Cases in its Friday report, down from 28 a week earlier, and 166 active quarantines, up from 127 a week earlier.
Area hospitals reported a decrease of four in the number of patients with COVID-19.
