NE Health District Rolling Average Of Added COVID Cases Declines

The Department of Public Health Report listed no new deaths from the disease.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 271 new cases of COVID-19 and no deaths from the disease in the Department of Public Health Daily Status Report.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases (438.9) dropped from Saturday.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged at 7.1 deaths per day.
  • Oconee and Clarke counties both reported lower seven-day rolling averages of added cases on Sunday.
  • Area hospitals reported five fewer COVID-19 patients than the day before, but ICU beds in use remained unchanged.
