NE Health District Rolling Averages Of COVID Cases, Deaths Up
Oconee County Schools reports drops in Active Cases and Quarantines.

The 10-county Northeast Health District added 201 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and four deaths from the disease with the release of the Department of Public Health Daily Status Report on Friday.
The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased from 184.1 on Thursday to 192.3 on Friday, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths increased from 2.6 on Thursday to 2.9 on Friday.
Every county in the District added cases, with Oconee County adding 18 and Clarke County adding 88.

For the second day in a row, Clarke County added a COVID-19 death, bringing the total number of deaths in the county from the virus to 32.
The Department of Community Health also reported a COVID-19 death at PruittHealth Spring Valley nursing home in Elbert County and an additional COVID-19 Positive Staff member at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Jackson County.

The Georgia Hospital Association and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency on Friday reported that area hospitals had 87 COVID-19 patients, up from 78 on Thursday, 57 ICU Beds In Use, down from 63 on Thursday, and 32 ventilators in use, down from 35 on Thursday.
Oconee County Schools on Friday said that it had 11 Active COVID-19 cases among students and staff. The week earlier that figure had been 13. The schools had 82 Active Quarantines Due To Close Contact, down from 117 a week earlier.
