Northeast Health District Adds Six COVID-19 Deaths, 165 Cases

Rolling averages of added deaths and cases decline.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Wednesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added six confirmed COVID-19 deaths and 165 cases of the disease on Wednesday.
The seven-day rolling average of added deaths has declined three days in a row, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases has now declined 12 days in a row.
The University of Georgia reported a drop in the number of positive tests for COVID-19, both locally and across the system.
Malcom Bridge Middle School reported two new individuals who tested positive on Wednesday.
The state added 49,170 vaccinations on Wednesday, and the total now is just more than 1.3 million administrations of the vaccine.
